Updating your Personal Conference Calling Numbers

ow that we have completed the migration from the old WebEx to the new, it is necessary for you to recreate the Personal Conferencing numbers that you use for your teleconferences with the Board and others. The numbers that you have been using will no longer work.

To generate these new numbers, follow these steps:

  • Enter your email address.
  • When prompted, enter your username (cccs\Snumber) and your current computer password.
  • When you see this screen (this is known as the “Modern View”), click on the link that says “Classic View”

  • Once your view changes to something a bit more familiar, Click on the WebEx site menu icon in the upper right.
  • Click on “My Webex”
  • Click on Preferences on the left of the screen.

  • Click on the “Set up” link next to “Audio”

  • Scroll through the list of available locations on the left of the default call-in number window until you see “United States Toll (Denver)”.
  • Click on the Add button to move “United States Toll (Denver)” to the right

  • Scroll down and Enter an Audio PIN. Note: This can be any 4 digit number, but I typically use my extension number because it is easy for everyone to remember

  • Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Save. This will store your PIN. Now you are ready to generate the access codes.
  • Scroll back up and click on “Generate account”.
  • In the Add Personal Conference Number window, click on Generate. Numbers will appear the Host and Attendee access code fields.
  • Click Close
  • Scroll down and copy the telephone numbers (Denver recommended of course) and the Host and attendee access codes.
  • Note: If you forget to write down these codes, don’t worry, you can still find them by coming back to this location in the Web interface. (Click on Setup next to Audio).
  • Click on Save to store all settngs.
